Cookies

This site uses small cookies to remember what’s in your cart and, if you sign in, to keep you signed in. They’re needed for the shop to work.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how the shop is used: which pages are visited, how people find us (for example from a Google search), and which products are viewed, added to the cart and ordered. It sets cookies to tell visits apart and counts order totals, but we don’t send it your name, email, phone number or address. Google processes this information for us under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for [5 years], as tax law requires, and other information only for as long as we need it for the reasons above.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted where we don’t need to keep it. You can also object to us using it for marketing. Just contact us.

If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa: [add the Regulator's current website and complaints email].

Keeping it safe

Your information is stored with a reputable hosting provider and protected with encryption and access controls. Only Beth Kock and people helping run the shop can see it.
